The Green offers professional tuition for players of all ages and standards, from complete beginners upwards. Our team of coaches consists of Head Coach, Robert Ainsley (DCA qualified), Lee Morris (DCA qualified) and Claire Larkin (USPTR qualified).
Individual sessions can be booked with the coaches, but there are several squad and drop-in group sessions each week, covering a wide range of abilities and ages.

Saturday mornings at the club feature coaching for all the family; our coaches currently run an Adult Improver session from 9 till 10 am, with Adult Beginners from 10 am till 11 am. Newcomers, whatever your age or standard, are very welcome to try these Saturday morning groups for the special promotional price of £10 for four sessions. Please contact Claire Larkin regarding the current schedule for the Sunday morning adult session.
For youngsters, they run the following Saturday groups :-
• Mini Tennis Red Group : 9 am till 9.45 am - for beginners aged between three and five.
• Mini Tennis Orange Group : 10 am till 11 am - for ages six to eight.
• Tennis for beginners group : 10 am till 11 am - for ages eight to fourteen.
• Junior improvers : 11 am till pm - for ages eight to fourteen.
Coaching takes place in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, on the best courts in the area - clay is acknowledged by the Lawn Tennis Association as the best surface on which to learn and develop your game, while acrylic is the truest surface available and that used for two of the sport’s four Grand Slam tournaments.
