Information about The Green
LOCATION
Located off-road in a quiet residential area, the club provides a safe and secure environment ideal for families with young children. The club welcomes players of all standards and particularly encourages those new to the game. A licensed bar selling drinks and confectionery is available, together with a drinks vending machine and members take turns to provide club teas at weekends during the summer months. Changing rooms with showers are situated in the clubhouse.
COURT AVAILABILITY
The club currently has five acrylic, two fast-dry clay (NB: due to maintenance issues only one clay court is currently available for play) and two fast-drain macadam courts. Floodlights on the acrylic and clay courts enable them to be used until 10 pm all year round. Courts are available for club members at all times. Certain courts are set aside for junior play at specific times to ensure that all age groups are catered for. Members are entitled to bring visitors to play on payment of a small daily charge.
